Connecticut Ballet's "Nutcracker" Features Hartford Symphony Orchestra
Connecticut Ballet is set to host its 41st production of "The Nutcracker" in Stamford and Hartford, showcasing an impressive lineup of guest artists. The performances will occur on December 13 and 14 at The Palace Theatre in Stamford and December 20 and 21 at The Bushnell in Hartford. Notably, the Hartford shows will feature live music performed by the Hartford Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Carolyn Kuan.
Principal dancers from prestigious companies, including New York City Ballet and American Ballet Theatre, will grace the stage, with some making their Connecticut Ballet debuts in key roles. Each performance will also include a Nutcracker Boutique for holiday shopping and a Meet and Greet with the guest artists in the lobby.
In addition, a special student performance titled "Share the Magic" will be held on December 19, offering a condensed version of the ballet for local school groups. All performances are designed to be accessible, and group discounts are available.
